one of the best of men and purest of Christians
John Cotter Esqr.
of Ashton House, County of Cork,
who departed this life 10th August 1864,
in his 92nd year.

"Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord"

This tablet is erected to his memory
by his affectionate widow.


Note: Archdeacon Samuel Moore KYLE, A.M., was the Archdeacon of Cork from 1833 until at least 1864. In 1833 he married Jane, eldest daughter of John Cotter, esq, of Ashton, County Cork.
